Air/Oil Lubrication
Dropsa VIP4Tools is a simple yet effective system without the need for electronic monitoring. It creates a thin lubricant film between the tool & the machined part, & is ideal for dry machining applications such as milling, drilling, tapping & sawing. The system eliminates work area mist & offers increased tool life, reduction in lubricant usage, & clean machined parts. Manually adjustable micro pumps are used on this system & a solenoid-operated or pneumatic timer kit sets the interval between lubrication cycles. Dropsa has two specially developed lubricants for use on dry machining applications. Optimised either for aluminium or steel machining, both are completely non-toxic.
Dropsa VIP4Air provides a compact & precise system of air/oil "minimal lubrication" which is particularly effective in spindle, bearing, & gear applications. "Minimal lubrication" involves miniscule oil quantities being applied at frequent intervals. The VIP4Air system is able to deliver ultra low volume oil discharge by virtue of a unique integrated flow sensor. This allows micro amounts of lubricant to be applied at more frequent intervals whilst giving positive feedback that oil is correctly being injected & mixed into the air stream.
Dropsa VIP4Chain offers an economical, clean & precise way to apply lubricant to chain or conveyor systems. A sensor connected to the VIP4Chain monitors the number of links passing across the lubrication nozzle. When the pre-set lubrication point is reached the VIP4Chain activates the oil injection & air stream & fires an accurate quantity of lubricant onto the point without wastage & misplaced lubricant.
